Program Improvement
A distinctive feature of the Quality Improvement approach is the array of tools and resources avaliable across organizational sectors: business, education, health care, and beyond. With all tools, they must be tailored to the organization and situation. Tennessee Quality Adult Education Initiative is in the early stages of using and developing tools to fit program needs.

Improvement Resources
There are numerous quality and improvement resources available since this basic approach started with Dr. Shewhart's Statistical Process Control and then Dr. Deming and Joseph Juran's work in Japan after World War II. The following resources are the basic sites supporting the QAE Initiative.
