| Tennessee is committed to applying Quality and Continuous
Improvement Principles, Practices, and Tools to Adult Education Programs.
As a part of the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development,
the Tennessee Office of Adult Education is participating in a Quality
Improvement Initiative using the Baldridge
National Quality Program framework to examine all areas of their
program. Similarly, Tennessee Adult Education Program Supervisors
are examining the Tennessee Program
Quality Indicators, and participating in Quality Leadership Institutes,
as well as applying for and receiving recognition with the Tennessee
Quality Association.
